Recipe: A Chocolate Chip Valentine

Using your favorite chocolate chip
cookie recipe (or a tub
(Nestlé’s or Pillsbury)) from a
wholesale store).
Roll out all the dough
(using parchment paper-cookie
dough
in between two sheets) on a
baking sheet. Bake for about
30-35 minutes or until lightly
browned around the edges.
After the chocolate chip cookie has cooled for
only a few minutes, but is still warm, press a heart shaped cookie cutter (dipped in flour) into the cookie to create heart shaped chocolate chip cookies.

For an extra special touch: Melt dark chocolate in a double broiler and dip or drizzle the tops of the cookie. Add one of your child’s drawings or note in the package and you create a lasting impression.
